The team of devoted, some more than others left for a range of majestic mountains in search of the missing creature. In fact, "Alty" did not know for sure what creature this resident of the temple of all faith was. Talk about an expert in outsiders.

After climbing up and down, more up for sure and across impressive chasm on narrow stone bridges they reached "the prison". A goblin decided to help the group in exchange for his freedom.

After climbing down to some deeper level the group encountered some foes, dragons, undead and some humans fanatics. None of those could stop the highly enchanted arrows of the once insignificant half-elf ranger. He had turned into a marskman with nothing to envy to Slade, the royal archers of the high elves or the rare elite drow shooters who had picked one Underdark longbow instead of a crossbow.

Mundane arrows enchanted with Blood Magic was not something to underestimate...

"Perhaps one day they'll decide not to create them at all," Shanni responded looking at the dual heaps of bones that had been animated such a short while ago, "which would be nice, but you're right. I'm not sure how that would have been without the blessings of the Lady. It still doesn't seem right to use a blessing as a curse, the balance is strange. No time for such matters though, they've delayed us enough." She turned to look at Nim.

"You said there was information on where they had taken Killek, and how long ago it might have been?" She bit her lip. "Somewhere close and not so long ago would be nice, by a route we can travel quickly, as otherwise we're going to have a problem."

"Get used to it, sis." Suula shakes her head, gesturing at the underground river. "As I keep telling you, good luck for someone is usually bad luck for someone else. It would have been good luck for us if there was a boat here. But it's amazing for this... other cult that there isn't. Sooooo who's to say cursing someone bad isn't really good luck for someone else, hmmmm?"

"It's a few days away. This other cult, I mean - we're not teleporting anywhere, at least not for a while. What is it about these parts that attracts cults, anyway?"

Nihmri sighed.

"If they decided to waste no time in sacrificing him, there's not much we can do. Best thing for us is to hurry up."
