NWN 2 - Sundays
I haven't had a chance to look for new modules, so no game this Sunday. Also, I'd rather everybody be here when we start a new campaign. If anybody has any ideas or preferences, let me know. Thanks.
p.s. I have a modified version of NWN 1's OC that we can play. Basically I added HABD and the DMFI follow/emote widgets to the modules and changed the Prologue so that it gives the party 1000 and 3000 XP instead of just setting that XP level for whoever talks to that one teacher and Fenthick respectively. I have no issues with going back through that module with, say, a monk or paladin.

Re: NWN 2 - Sundays
I've never finished the OC, so I'm okay with playing it through.
No game today, however I won't be available next week, 8/5.

Re: NWN 2 - Sundays
Hi, have you played "Hordes of the Underdark". I've seen that it has great reviews and is revered.
Re: NWN 2 - Sundays
Oh yeah, I've finished HotD a few times. The problem with it is that you start out at level 15, but the original module was built for single play. I did make a few modifications to it so that a party would work just as well. There is one section that I would likely have to sign in as a DM to get us by, but I can do that on Elaura's computer. I don't mind playing it again, but I'd like to hear from Tinbender before we do anything.
Re: NWN 2 - Sundays
Aaahhh. I didn't realize it was for high level
I keep meaning to play it, but haven't had the chance.
Re: NWN 2 - Sundays
I was talking to Elaura and what we could do is play the OC until the end, then pick up HotU afterwards. Or we could skip the OC and start with HotU because it has a leveling script that'll bump us up to level 15, but then we'd be starting out with generic magical weapons and not the stuff we can get from the other campaign. It's up to you guys and I'd like to hear from everybody first. I think I'll have to PM Mac and Tinbender though.
Re: NWN 2 - Sundays
We're going to do the OC and then HotU afterwards. Elaura's bringing back Linnie and KF's doing Karon. I'm probably going to go with a Dwarven fighter/WM/DD, so feel free to pick whatever floats your boat, AE. Tinbender said something about helping cleanup in Colorado after the fires and I haven't heard from Mac in over a week so I'm not counting on either of them to be joining us this Sunday. No new haks will be needed.
Re: NWN 2 - Sundays
I'm back, about a week of sifting through peoples houses and putting them in dumpsters is all I can take mentally and physically. Don't have a character picked out yet but will be there tonight.

Re: NWN 2 - Sundays
Very regretfully, I'm unable to continue playing, at this time (hangs head low). I've really enjoyed playing with you guys, you're a good bunch of people. Unfortunately, the next few months of weekends have become busy with kids' soccer tournaments and family obligations (in a good way).
The great news is my kids, nephews, and brother in-law have become excited in D&D PnP. When they all said they needed a DM, they all looked up toward the guy standing behind me. When I looked to see who they were looking at, there wasn't anyone behind me
So, yesterday, the new band of adventurers began unraveling the mysteries of "The Sunless Citadel". Not to worry, we're playing 3.5e. I'd dig out my AD&D books, but the kids are familiar with NWN2 already
Thanks for the good times. Please, let me know if you need a player in the future.
PS: Great portrait, GW. Toric is a force to be reckoned with.
(Thinks "Dang it" as the procrastination to click "Submit" continues.....)
